(2) Sigh in relief that they're not talking about you.
~ Unfortunately, Missy doesn't work for free and Viney's father owes her a child or two
~ The only one who’s able to outshine Missy is grime princess M.I.A. Unfortunately, Missy contorts her voice to sound like a British rapper.
~ Unfortunately, Missy has had some health problems. We work through them every day.
~ Unfortunately, Missy didn't send me any 3D glasses in the mail, so it's impossible to fully enjoy this video. As such, it's just some typical Missy fare.
~ Unfortunately Missy isn’t nearly as appreciated or as popular in the States as she is abroad.
~ Unfortunately, Missy doesn't mention her recent foray into soft-core internet sites.
~ Unfortunately Missy cannot live with other dogs due to intolerance and jealousy issues. No children or visiting children but older teens may be considered.
and my personal favorite:
~ Clearly Missy has the bloodlines as well as the build to be a great producing mare.
It's not nasty, but some things just can't be fixed, you know? Our friendship is still strong, hopefully it will endure through the change. I think it will.

4. Title this post what the answer to your last question is.
5. Good luck and have fun!

You Blew Me Off, It Turned Me On by Bare, Jr. okay, this is getting entirely too funny

I got:

How deep in to this are you? There is a life beyond LARP, you know. Of course, it's not nearly as interesting, is it? Besides... LARPing builds character, doesn't it? Why stop now?

it was the first step to talking more online, and getting to know (a bit) some people that i don't see very often. it also serves as a lovely reminder that, when i'm going through rough times, i'm only as alone as i want to be.
02. What do you do before bedtime?
read or online chat. mostly chat.
03. What are you going to have for dinner tonight?
whatever kevin cooks
04. What is the ONE place you want to go before you die if you had the money and time?
i couldn't begin to say. there's a world full of places that i would love to see, and each holds it's own allure.
05. What scares you?
making a 'wrong' choice. the concept that i might be paralyzed by this fear my entire life.
06. What do you do in your free time?
LARP, fanatically bargain hunt, read, online chat, hang with my kitties
07. If you could speak another language (one you currently don't know), what would it be?
Chinese
08. What personal belonging do you have with you everywhere you go?
99.5% of the time i have my purse, containing: wallet, advil & lip balm
09. What was your favorite song or musical group when you were young?
define young - 8th grade, when i loved Twisted Sister & Cyndi Lauper? high school, when i adored Prince & Duran Duran in all their incarnations? college, when I drove my roommates crazy with Winger, Def Leppard and Guns & Roses? the post college addiction to Concrete Bonde, Garbage, Adema & Broadway musicals? or my current love for RA, Breaking Benjamin and VNV Nation? and there's sooooo much music that i'm leaving out......
10. Are you a risk taker?
i'd like to be, but no, not so much.
11. Is being tagged fun?
yes. it's the first time i've been tagged. my other quizzes have been stolen.

the one who's interested in me, too
19. Would you have 100% safe sex with a stranger for $10,000,000?
tricky. in theory, my first thought was 'that's a lot of kitty shelter endowments. of course i would." in practice, my brain kicked in, and reminded me that being touched that way by a complete stranger would totally freak me out. so, in the end, i don't know.
20. What is your favorite color?
to wear? black, obviously. to look at? rich, dark purply-blues, like in a Talbot shoreline print of mist coming in over the rocks at the darkest point of sunset.

The first part is Niagara Falls, which was indescribably beautiful. Adding it to the trip was an afterthought, but turned out to be one of my favorite parts. The later section is Columbus Zoo in Ohio, one of my other favorite parts. I haven't added many tags yet, and probably won't until after Lex.
Cedar Point? A nice amusement park, and roller-coaster rider's paradise. Being more a 'theme park' person, it was just ok for me.
My last favorite part made going to Sandusky completely worthwhile. Ghostly Manor looked like a totally cheesy haunted house attraction, but we went there just for kicks one night. It totally rocked! Apparently it's rated top ten for walk-through attractions in the US. They only had 3 actors in the walk-though itself, but they were great. Atmosphere, props, animatronics were all top-rate. If you're ever near Sandusky, definitely drop in.

I wanted to do it over & over. Guess I'll have to settle for an excellent larp this weekend instead. : )
The really amusing part is that the person who will make us look like coaster newbies is Kevin's dad. 72 years old, and every time he joins us at a park he outrides everyone, 30-40+ rides per day. He's a serious coaster junkie.
Maverick, here we come!
Your Score: Evolved
As a zombie, you are 32% brainless, 68% emotionless, and 51% scary
You are an evolved zombie. You've reached the next stage in zombie development by using the one organ that hasn't turned to ooze and curdled: your brain. You have (re)figured out how to open doors, use simple machines, and possibly even fire a gun. You may not follow the crowd, but that makes you just that much more frightening as you can actually outsmart your prey, instead of simply mindlessly chase them about.

What Pseudo Historical Figure Best Suits You? created with QuizFarm.com |
| You scored as C.G. Jung You are more of a spiritualist than would be immediately apparent. Some of your notions are questioned by the cynical, but deep down you know the human consciousness is more than the flesh and tissue can account for. You tend to take a scientific observationist look on matters the average person wouldn't even begin to analyze. You personally are responsible for most of the ideas that are floating around in modern psychologist's/psychic's paltry little skulls. On the down side, you tend to be associated with that asshole Freud. |
Indirect combat, Loner, Subtle, No Magic. You're the Sniper. Subtle, patient, and perfectly content to sit back for hours to take out your mark from long distance with your trusty longbow. You do things by yourself because bringing anyone else along would ruin your element of surprise and ya don't need any of that magic rubbish.

Fortunately Dillards stepped in to fill the gap. Not that I normally shop at such an overpriced place, but they're having an awesome online sale today. All the 'gifty' Christmas items are on sale - wonderful things like a calligraphy set, a mahogany writing valet, and 3x magnification steampunky opera glasses (she's an artificer, too).
So my lovely new purchases are on their way, and for a small fraction of the original price. Woot!
In other happy news, Jason & Charlton visited again this weekend, and brought more yummyness from Mike's. This time I was introduced to chocolate mousse cannolli. They've promised to take me to Mike's when I visit them at their new apartment in Boston.
